this is my first wakeboat and I havnt even got the chance to put it in the water after I bought it last year. I tie up to some 30ft bajas and it seems like the rear sides on my 07 mobius are gonna sit way lower than their boats. Ive got some 6.5x22 polyform bumpers but attaching the bumpers to the rear cleat looks like its gonna be a pain to keep it in between the boats. What bumpers do you guys use when tied up to other non wake boats?

Can't really answer that particular question as i don't tie up to any non-wake boats as that's all my friends and family have. In fact i try not to tie up to any other boats at all but when i do I use Polyforms as well, but their 5.5" i believe with poly covers on them. Some people have used Hull-Hugger flat fenders that drape over the hull with success i think. But keep in mind that a lower hull next to a larger boat will always have the risk of rolling into it when rollers hit and i'm not sure even those will help.

yeah i saw those flat hanging fenders. they would protect great from the top to bottom but at only 2.5 inches thick a light breeze would crush those flat between 2 boats.

Hoppers are great to tie up to other boats.

I may get laughed off the lake if I pull those out but I guess it's better than pissing everyone off when my low rubrail beats on their $90k baja's!

What's wrong with custom made Disney bumpers?

You may get some laughs at first but, it won't be long before everybody is thanking you and rocking a set of there own.
Alway a good conversation piece too... Check out the balls on my boat!
Try it with a beer in your hand and a straight face! Always a crowd pleaser. ;)

Now that's funny, I don't care who you are :)

What number are we up to on the hippity hop vote? We use them all the time. Great between wakeboats with boards on the racks to keep from banging boards too.

alright i might have to try these out then but where do you get them that they aren't toy story or princess ones? being an unmarried guy with no kids kinda hard to explain to the guys why i have a pink princess hippty hop on my boat!

Shouldn't be that hard, just tell them you're getting intouch with your feminine side to help get more ladies on the boat :D

Just tell them that when they see what you do with those after dark they won't be laughing so hard.

I am thinking about buying balls from Exile Audio. Has anyone seen these before?

A search will find more than you want to know about Exile balls. LOL. Seriously.

Haven't used the Exile balls but it's a decent deal. I picked up the Ronix Happy Hour ( 8x18 ) super easy to inflate and also come in 10x24.

The exile balls are really really good. Have several and they will protect your boat. I bought several these on sale for $10 as backups because you can never have enough balls.

Those are affectionately know around here as "Brian's balls". Many of us have them. They work great.
