New Tow Vehicle

I have been towing my 08 LSV with a 99 Tahoe, however after 191,000 miles I had to retire it. I recently purchased an 07 Yukon XL Denali with the 6.2 L. This vehicle has all the power you need plus it has the stabilitrac and auto ride. The vehicle automatically levels off after the trailer is attached,(very nice option). One other nice option is the backup camera, I can backup right to the trailer and get spot on the first time. If anyone is thinking about this vehicle I would say go for it.

Hey, why pick on the poor little Ridgeline? I've had one since end of 05 and I am extremely happy with it, and mileage is good...especially for what was available back in 05/06...I get 19-20 to and from work, 22-23 on the highway averaging 65-70. Of course it's not that powerful but it gets the job done.

Nice Ride............I like it.
Have an 05 yukon (not xl) but still has the 6L V8. Ton's of power. My wife drives it and we tow now with 07 Seirra 2500 Duramax. Just a bit more pwr and torque! You'll enjoy it :)

I am on my 2nd Avalanche, and it is a great vehicle. Towing, comfort, storage, and an 8' covered bed to haul stuff. I have the 5.3L in my current one with a 6 speed auto. The 6 speed is awesome; with that and displacement on demand I am getting 17.6 mpg around town. I recently took a trip on backroads with 55 mph limits and got 25 mpg. Not too bad for a 6000 lb truck.

Love it. Do they have another one there? I'll take it. Actually, I only have about 91k on the '01 Suburban so it's just getting broken in. In another week or two I can run wide open.

Ah, now I was dreaming up a potent and suitably razzy comeback to that until I re-read the thread and realised that it wasn't the OP who said it. :-) I tow an XLV with my Ridgeline just fine. I am not sure how needing a bigger truck for a smaller boat makes it "better".

I congratulate the OP on the upgrade and wish him well. I also agree that a levelling system is a great feature that I'd like for all trucks and SUV's that actually get used as such.

Ok don't forget to look at the Euro Diesels! Like Ian says independent rear axles are the thing!!!! And 20mpg in town ain't bad either!!!

Oh and my Touareg has 3 damper settings and 5 height settings!!! And yes of course it levels the load when I put a trailer on it!

Nice ride, i have the 07 Burb slt loaded, my third burb and would not go another direction.

denali are da bomb , my wife had an 01 the we loved but having two with gas prices at 5 bucks a gallon was not good:mad:
