Picked up my boat yesterday afternoon from the dealer getting de-winterized and the GG3 system installed. Had lunch at the Hula Hut on Lake Austin outdoors because it was 70+ degrees. Ready to test the "old Gravity Games system" before I change out the manifold and valves and guess what...today is 37 degrees <sigh>. Have to wait again.

Yep. high 60's and low 70's all week here in WI and slnow saturday morning :(

In fact a local weather station showed our weather against florida's, we were about the same all week. Big difference of couse was some of our lakes are still covered in hard water.

I just picked up my friend from the airport. She returned from a 6-inch snowfall in Texas to sunny, warm, snowless Ottawa.

Gosh, I never thought that I would ever write anything like the above sentence!

Yep. screwed up my weekend. We were supposed to go down to Texas Ski Ranch with some friends for my b-day. I sat at home complaining and freezing all day instead. Of course this coming Saturday is showing 78 and my wife has to work so I'll be stuck at home with the kid all day.

I took the boat to Lake Austin yesterday for the first time. It was a bit cold and choppy because of the wind but I'm glad we went. Nice wake with the 550's in the rear lockers.

Perfect Pass Star Gazer works awesome!! I like it better than the paddle wheel, it held the speed through the turns and chop nearly perfect.

It's gonna be a fun summer!!

Yeah man, I don't think the weather got the memo about the plans we were all making this weekend. It just didn't want to play along. TrueTexan, me, and a few friends had plans for the weekend but ended up getting to play on the water Thursday for about 4 hours, Friday about 5 hours, shut inside the house Saturday, and then about 4 hours on Sunday ... Then Monday was beautiful as I'm driving back home with no lake plans. The water was cool, TrueTexan thought it was a bit on the super cold side ... but we were in it everyday so it wasn't too bad.

It's raining so hard right now I might have to start lining up two of every animal and put them in my boat.
