View Full Version : Who wants a blank switch panel for their LSV? (EQ install)

I plan to move all the switches higher on the panel to make room for my EQ as pictured below. But rather than fabricate a plate I thought I'd try to start with a blank panel.

So I managed to track down the company that makes the switch panels for the LSV and they are willing to produce as many "blank" switch panels as I would like! The price is $25 + shipping if we have <4 people and 5 or more will be $20 + shipping. Since they are wholesale only they wanted to just do this once, only ship to a single address, and insisted on COD. So all the plates will ship to me, then I will repackage and send out to everyone.

Please post in this thread ASAP if interested!

Any idea if this is the same panel as the Outback Direct Drive? It looks to be the same, but I'm not sure. If they are, I'd be in for one for a different project I have in mind...

Sorry, I don't know what other models it will fit. Maybe some measurements will help? 9.5" across the top, 8.25" along the bottom, about 5.5" tall on the left side, and 3.5" on the right.

That would only fit '08 and up LSV / XLV and maybe Outback. My '07 dash is different.

Brain just ship me and Newty's to his location. I will pay you with my paypal and split the shipping with Newty since we are so close.

Hope thats cool with you Newt? LOL save a buck or two on shipping by splitting the cost there.

Brain,

Could u pls post the contact info of the person u are dealing with? I may have them make me a plate to cover the ballast switch hole created when I moved my ballast switches.

Thx.

Anyone know if this will fit in the OBV 07? Can someone measure.

Are you looking for measurements of this blank panel? If so I posted that above.

I'm guessing you're looking for panel measurements on an 07 OBV though?

Brainrinse, can you get a price on the little one for the ignition on the other side for me? Mines got a big scuff and id like to move some things around a bit.
Thanks.
Do you want a blank panel for that side too or one that is already cut?

Update: they attempted to deliver the panels today while I was at work. I'll schedule a pickup for tomorrow and get them shipped out ASAP. Newty, mmandley, and gus please send me a PM with your shipping address. I'll get some shipping quotes based on your zip code and let you know the total amount with shipping. Looking forward to getting this project going!

Here is my panel after I cut it. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel for the rough cuts, then an razor blade, file, and sand paper to finish it off. My advice would be to put another layer of tape over the entire face of the panel before cutting. The contact paper that comes on there isn't enough to protect it.
