Just noticed this new pump on Wakemakers website. Did some more Internet searching on other wakeboat forums and seems to be getting good reviews. Definately has a higher flow rate than the Jabsco ballast puppy (12GPM vs. 9GPM) and is slightly less expensive. Tried to find out more technical specs like amp draw but couldn't find anything. Doesn't mention the impeller or if anyone has complaints about leaking after filling or if it fills without having the pump on (some of the problems associated with the Jabsco impellers). Seems like a pretty fast fill time for those 750lb sacs

I can get you any specs you want, but for the most part it's going to be virtually identical to the Jabsco (in terms of current draw, etc.).

Only one impeller is available from Johnson, so it doesn't really matter what the compound is, but it does not have the problems associated with the black and yellow Jabsco impellers, so you should be good there.

Johnson is the largest manufacturer of marine pumps, they just haven't spend the time or money to market to the ballast industry. If some one is looking for a faster impeller pump, this is definitely the best choice, and it's performed very well in our testing so far.
