Had a pretty good day. It never really got above about 67 and there was a constant 20 MPH wind. Parts of the Flint River were OK, but Lake Seminole had whitecaps and 2 foot swells. We went down there but turned back because it just wasn't any fun out on the lake. We got a good chunk of the break-in done as it was showing over 4 hours at the end of the day. I was just amazed at how nicely it drives. It handled the chop so much better than the Outback and it was very comfy. It didn't "drive bigger" than the Outback and it turns on a dime just like the Outback. It really handles great. I absolutely love it.
Here's a pic that shows it was kind of a gray windy day. (This is in the basin, a protected lagoon where the boat ramps are- you can even see some chop in there.)

It was a fun day. I wore jeans, sweater and fleece jacket so I was warm. Also was trying to get the kids to share the blanket at the end of the tour.

Looks good on the water. How did you take the picture? I won't get out on the water till maybe next month. The lake I belong to doesn't open till May 5th . The zebra mussel program here is a pain in posterior. If the state and all the other water governing people would get on the same page it wouldn't be so bad . You could then boat all over the state and not have any hassles . Oh well ..
Jim.

Thanks! Mrs. Kane was parking the truck so I dropped my oldest daughter on the dock and asked her to get an "on the water" shot of us. She did pretty well. (I didn't know I had two rappers behind me though.)

Congrats Kane and Mrd Kane, I never drove the OBV ive only drove the LSV and i can never say enough good things about how it drives. I absolutely love it.

Glad you got a good chunk of break in done. Pretty soon you can be surfing behind her and give some thought about about the Surf wave right out of the box vrs the OBV lol.

Do you know what the first thing was General George Washington told his men as they prepared to cross the Delaware?

"Sit down in the boat, men."

I think my version was more like, "Sit down and shut up."

Thanks! I think it's kind of distinct. Or maybe I'm just getting old (?) but I love it.
