We are going to start wakesurfing this season and I am trying to decide wether to get the Hyperlite Boradcast or the CWB Ride. I am sure that I will upgrade next season or the season after. So am just wondering which beginners board you guys think is better?

Either one is good. Keep it for a beginner's board after you upgrade.

probably hear good stories on both. can't go wrong.
and second kane's idea. I started on the broadcast and still keep it around for teaching noobs. can't tell you how many have ridden it since new. we throw it on the boat every time we are meeting someone that has never surfed before :)

Yeah, I saw that one, but it's a 4'8" and I need a 5'6" seeing that I am 6'5" and. 215lbs. Thanks for the heads up though!

Understand. I've got the bigger one. I go about 215. Nobody calls me "stretch" though.

Stretch,

Contact bswake, he's member. He works for/owns a board shop. Gave me a good deal on a new liquid force venture 5.0.

Yeah ask for Brian from BSwake, I'm pretty sure you can get a discount for being a Moomba owner, and it never hurts to ask :)

Absolutly not. Each board is different. I have a buddy who is 6' 2" 280 riding my 5.0 TWP no Probs. It more has to do with surface area of the board and how it is meant to be ridden. Some sites like Inland Surfer will give you the weight range of the board based on riding ability and boat set up. I believe TWP has a similar set up.

Yes, if u are just starting out, go with the bigger board. Will make it much easier to learn and eventually freeride. You can get there with a smaller board too but it will take u longer. Buy the bigger board then keep it to teach others once u have moved on to a smaller one. I still have my CWB for that reason.

That would work. Al what cwb do you have? The ride? I don't think it will be this weekend thought I got no ballast in the rear. I sold my 2 250's and am still waiting for my new 400's. Also Al where are you doing your prop testing at today?

Stretch if all you need is bags bro, i got my 750s in my truck LOL. We can toss one of them in, my boat is available to the water as of Tuesday. Looks like the other day for the next week worth a shot is Sunday. But hey in the NW they call for rain everyday, they just don't tell ya what part of the city lol.

I really don't want her in the water till she is looked over by AWS, or me at the very least. TO many upgrades and changes have been made to make her maiden voyage with friends. I need to get her out on the water and make sure everything i did is working and not leaking LOL.
