Take a piece of paper and wrap it around the point where you want the clamp to go. Mark where it touches itself and then flatten it back out and measure (for circumference), then divide by 3.14. That gives you the diameter or clamp size. (Don't forget to convert the decimal to a fraction.)

well the problem with that is that's I’m in Iraq and the boat is in Tx in my mom's garage and there's no way my mom would be able to do that for me, or would I ask her too even try... she would be like "now wtf you want me to do again...???" hahaha

What are you trying to add to your tower? I have an 02 LSV and have added a light bar and speakers, check my signature links for the tower speaker install. The 1 5/8 sounds correct, I will check for you when I get home. I had to use the rubber spacers with all of the tower clamps I used.

Well, crap. If I was a little closer I'd go over there and measure it for you. Keep your head down.

JesseC, your tower looks the same as mine! btw I like your install with your wires in the tower, nice! So you think its 1 5/8 but you said you had to use rubber spacers with all you tower clamps??

I’m trying to add a light bar and 2 speakers... maybe 4 speakers I’m not sure yet... how does yours sound with just the two 6 /12 Polk’s up there?

kaneboats, thanks! lol Iraqi elections this weekend, defiantly keeping my head down!!! lol

For me the two tower speakers were plenty, I can hear the music at 80' just fine. Is it the loudest boat on the lake....no. It just depends on what you are looking for. I was looking for something that blended in with the boat so I went with the white fiberglass to match the deck of the boat and knew I wanted a light bar and only had enough room for the two of them, but you know what they say "Bigger is better"!! Add four if you would like to, it would not hurt!! I walked downstairs and confirmed that the tower is 1 5/8" with a set of micrometers. Here are a few pis of my custom light bar I built and the pics of the spacers. When I ordered the clamps the come with rubber inserts that you use to fit them to your tower. Here is the link to crutchfield where I got mine. I would assume that your light bar and speakers will come with the clamps, but you can look at these to get the idea.

Hey, I don't know the answer to that one but is there anything else you need? Some of my cousin's guys wanted baby wipes or other stuff to make life a little more bearable. PM me with your needs and address and I'll do what I can, right? USA

They should be 6.5 and the polks should fit. with out seeing any pics would be helpul in confirming size, but i understand your distance dilema..

check out this site on ebay has a ton of cool stuff, even 6.5 in pods with lights in the back of them. may get two things in one package.

As Kane said, let us know if you guys need stuff, we certainly can figure out a way to get a care package over seas...

Ok thanks, yeah I think they are 6.5 and if they are most any 6.5 should fit!

jmvotto, thanks for the site but the problem I知 running into is finding the right clamp sizes for my tower.

So I got a hold of my mom and talked her into getting my little sister's camera and taking a few pictures of the boat for me. So I知 looking at the tower speakers in the picture and they look like 6.5, I just hope I can put a different speaker in the can.

Here are some pictures...
