In Alabama it was nearly 70 degrees today. I'm taking my boat out on Sunday and pray that nothing froze. I did my first winterization myself. Not too worried. But can't wait to be on the water again and feel the warmth of the sun. I will be sooo tempted to put my feet in those boots and jump in. I know I'm over the 100 degree mark (water plus air temp) Maybe with my heater shirt I can do it. We'll see.

Got out on Lake Washington today with a 4/3 steamer only (no booties, gloves or cap). Would have been a bit nicer with the gloves and booties but was definitely tolerable for 30 minutes at a time.

We have been having a lot of Sun in the Portland area. It been really making me want to get out and relax on the boat. To bad it looks like a small bomb went off in my boat right now. Its in all kinds of peaces LOL.

I doubt mine will see water till after vacation end of March till mid April.
Going to visit Utah, Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson, and El Paso while we are traveling.

Hopping to catch a few beers with peeps in those areas as well.

Well, made it out after changing impeller, oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, etc. Cruising along after about 15 minutes and the drive belt broke. Had to get towed in. Now looking on here for what kind to buy. But it was 70 degrees and a good day anyway. Headed to Auto Zone. Surely those guys can find the belt I need if I don't find it on here.

Found the Gates 7245 at O'Reilly's for my Indmar 725018 belt which is what other guys on here have recommended. But it looks wider on the inside. The total width of the belt is the same but the V side is wider. Is this a concern? Perhaps the old one wore down a good bit? Huh, I'll try it out and see what happens.

On the road all weekend for kido's basket ball and volley ball. We got a really "neat" new 7" of snow and still coming down. I got the airplane out for a flight on friday and flew over our lake.... Just to check it.......they are using snow shovels to make pretty pictures in the snow that sets on top of the ice that covers our local play ground! Gurrrr! I am so ready!
