If the cost of a boat were not a factor, would you own the boat you currently do? If yes, what brand would you change to and how fast? If no, what are your thoughts?

I have new boat on the brain and was curoius what yours thoughts are.

That's an extremely loaded, vauge, phishing, huh?, kinda question there aqua. Why not just spill your guts and tell what your looking at? Or will you be looking at whatever comes out on top of a 200+ post count thread? :p

The boat I would buy may not be the one you would. If you are serious then do your research and test drive, test drive and test drive all the different boats. No matter what brand you pick make sure it will do what you want for years to come.

Simple answer--Mobius LSV with every single option. Why? I just really like this boat and it just "fits" me. And, Not overly impressed with MC in looks and cant stand the CC looks.

Its not a loaded question, not at all.

I can't change boats right now for lots of reasons. I"m thrilled to have mine and I've got it just about the best it can be. Just thought I would ask the forum what wakeboard boat they would buy if they didnt have the constraint of money.

So it has to be a wakeboard boat? ;) I don't know what brand. I do like my OB DD. Before purchasing my moomba I did have my heart set on a nautique 196 with 375 hp 6.0L. But financially and people friendly the OB was a better buy so here I am.

yeah, that's kind of a retarded question :D

i would have a couple of boats by a couple of companies at a couple of houses.

in the end, i'm very happy that i can afford a nice moomba outback on top of everything else i own while raising a family.

I have a 99 Moomba Outback and I love it. But if I have the chance I would take this one, 2009 Tige Rz4 only problem is it has a 70,000 price tag.

Ok, now that's just going overboard. Wolf, you must like the flashy life style huh? :)

Have any of you guys seen that boat on the travel channel I believe that people actually live on full time? It just travels the world, while they do what they do.....on a cruise liner.

While I truly love my Moomba, but, if money were no option I would have the Ski Nautique 200 & a Super Air Nautique 210! I'm a Correct Craft fan, love my Mobius LS! It all comes down to $$$$$

would come down to the launch24ssv, sanger 237 surf edition, tige rz4 and the enzo240.
surf 75% of the time, so the surf wake would make the decision for me.

A 2010 Malibu 247LSV is what i would have if money wasn't a factor. That is just one big, bad and beautiful boat!

The Mastercraft X-45 does have a six figure price tag thats why I am more than impressed with my XLV GG

I think even if money was no object, I would still get a SC boat. I really like the Supra Sunsport 21V. Might get the GG version thought.

I would end up with the same boat I have...but get lake front property on a chain of lakes

Bingo! The best way that I could improve my boating experience would be a waterfront cottage. I rent one once in a while for a week in the summer, but would rather have one each weekend.

If it were just the boat on which to spend money, it would be tempting to look at any of the higher-end brands not just for the luxury features, but for the extra fibreglas. Looking at the specs for any of them, they outweigh the Moomba size equivalent by 500-1000 lbs. The weird thing is that, with roughly the same volume, they have about the same rated weight capacity on top of the extra building material. I would probably stifle that temptation though, because then I'd need a full-size truck to tow the heavier boat. I love my mid-size Ridgeline!

Since the free money isn't on offer for that, I'd instead get a new XLV or have my existing XLV's ballast system upgraded to the latest version.

Interesting question. At the boat show this year I had a good look at the Mastercraft X-7, the Nautique 200, and the Malibu LXi.

They are all nice boats, but I've become really comfortable in my Outback. I've skied behind quite a range of boats and the Moomba is as good as any of them.

I find the overly done extras to be a bit ridiculous leaving the boat with more things to break down. The Outback has more room and is less cluttered than the other ski boats. I guess the Malibu is the closest and the only alternative I would consider. But that huge price difference will sure pay for a lot of lessons at ski school.

A few years back I saw a 40th anniversary MC (not sure what model) at a dealer in Wisconsin and it looked fabulous with a lot of bling. I pulled myself out of that place by my ear and saved myself from going into debt.

Hmmm. Same boat, lots more women??????

OUCH!!!!!!! Hey, I was just kidding!! Just because I was looking for something a little narrower in the BEAM?? OUCH!! OWWWWW!!!!!!

How about one with a nail parlor on board?? (And free tequila shots below deck.)
